SUMMER EMPLOYMENT - PLANNING AND PARKS Park Recreation & Invasive Species Management Intern Washington County, located in West Bend, Wisconsin currently has a great opportunity in the Planning and Parks Department to work in the Washington County Park System as a Park Recreation & Invasive Species Management Intern. This is a temporary internship position working between the months of May and August. Duties will include maintenance of existing trails, development of new trails, invasive species management (detecting, documenting, and removing existing populations), natural area management, assist with park development projects (dog park, disc golf course, campsites,...), GIS mapping and survey work, summer roadway PACER survey, brushing, weed whipping, mowing, assist with development of 2020 AmeriCorps/volunteer plan, train other staff and coordinate the removal of invasive species in priority areas, and other duties as assigned by the Parks Property Manager.
Work Hours: Up to 40 hours per week with four-ten hour days and possible weekends with either a Friday or Monday off.
Salary: $10.00 / hour
