Not Just Cookies Wholesale Bakery is looking for a social media creative intern (unpaid) who has a background and interest in video and photo editing, as well as posting on various social media platforms. We are very active on social media, and we are searching for an intern in their sophomore or junior year of university. We are seeking an individual with interest in various social media applications, marketing tactics and strategies, and a strong interest in online ecommerce sales.

Work Location: Remote (Typically), Available transportation to Downtown Chicago (Near the Daley Center)

Requirements:

• Post-Production Video Editing - you will be responsible for editing and assembling recorded raw
• materials into a suitable, finished product ready for broadcasting on social media platforms.
• Adding - sound effects, background music, graphic and special effects to the video.
• Soundbite - create a short clip of speech or video extracted from a longer piece of material.
• Proficiency in writing creative copy -- create captions, applying quotes relevant to the message of the material.
• Experience using the Canva app or something similar is preferred.
• Post final content on all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Podcast, Twitter, etc.)
• Develop an overall video brand messaging strategy.
• Professional social media presence and provision of effective marketing and customer service via social media.
• Creative thinker and problem solver.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Available 15-20 hours/week

Job Type: Part-time Internship (unpaid) Pay: $0.00 per hour

• College Credit Fulfillment Schedule:
• * Monday, Wednesday, Friday
• * 10 am - 4:30 pm CST (flexible, but within this window)

COVID-19 considerations:

• All employees are required to wear masks throughout the day at our bakery site located in Chicago.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Currently in 2nd or 3rd year of University

Experience:

• Social Media Management: 1 year (Preferred)
• Retail & Sales experience 1-2 (Preferred)
• Video & Photo Editing: 1 year (Preferred)

Hours per week:

• about 20
• Typical start time: 10AM
