Job Details

Reports to: Line Lead

Supervises: Production Hourly Production

Overall Responsibilities: This position involves the responsibility of the overall monitoring of the line production and assisting the department Lead and the department supervisor.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Update production boards
  • Check quality on your lines
  • Update Vacation board
  • Be proficient at running all the lines
  • Train all the staff on their lines
  • Ensure the quality of all products while running efficiently
  • Coordinate the work of all the line workers as directed by Supervisor
  • Record and report production for the department
  • Record and report scrap for the department
  • Keep waste as low as possible
  • Department organization and housekeeping
  • Encourage and motivate team members
  • Work well with subordinates and coworkers
  • Set yourself apart as a leader from your subordinates
  • Lead by example
  • Provide clear and precise instructions
  • Respond to all management needs and instructions
  • Handle all issues professionally and do not engage in any verbal arguments and altercations with coworkers or subordinates
  • Be a champion for Koch Filter
  • Adhere to the Company's confidentiality policy and Managements' instructions
  • Team Leaders must have exceptional attendance.
  • Perform other duties directed by the supervisor.
  • Must know and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain warehouse housekeeping and 5S.
  • Perform these and other comparable related duties as instructed by management.
  • Participate in all HPT functions

Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and Experience: Over 6 months to and including 3 years' experience. Equivalent to 1 to 3 years applied trades training in a particular or specialized occupation.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions including complicated drawings, blue prints, specifications, charts, tables and various precision measuring instruments.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to use basic math including fractions and decimals.

Reasoning Abilities: Requires the use of judgement to comply with instructions and perform work routines involving incoming materials, check accuracy and verify amounts within the limits of recognized or standard methods.
