Responsibilities

Provide analytical and operational expertise to the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), and other related system initiatives under the direction and guidance of the Director of Information Technology, to assist in the development, customization and support of the computerized patient record system and adapts the selected software to the physician/patient encounter of the assigned physician group(s). Identify and analyze clinical practice and processes, and recommend modifications and solutions to increase effective and efficient clinical care. Participate in evaluation and maintenance of clinical systems and provides consistent presence in outpatient clinics to support clinical transformation and assist staff in maximizing the use of information technology.

  • Development and maintenance of overall principles for safe design and use of patient care and workflows, with a focus on workflow design, and evidence-based practices to improve overall patient outcomes through enhanced technology and workflow process improvements.
  • Responsible for maximizing technology design to achieve the best evidence based clinical outcomes and the ability to lead the organization's approach to clinical documentation in collaboration with the Information Technology Services, Operations, and the Clinical representatives/leaders throughout the organization
  • Executes assigned project tasks in accordance with project schedule.
  • Provides support and enables application and systems design standardization of physician, medication management, and clinical documentation and workflow
  • Consistently delivers high-quality services to business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify, resolve, and escalate situations as they occur to ensure appropriate resolutions to the situation and openly communicate with the various stakeholders.
  • Prioritize requests to ensure the organizational needs are met in coordination with the various market and organizational leaders.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of the necessary technical training and support to end users.
  • Assist with the development of the necessary policy and procedures necessary to address the particular applications

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Clinical degree (LPN, ADRN, BSN)
  • Current Clinical Licensure (RN, LPN) in the state of Idaho
  • Must be able to communicate, interpret, and critically think using a clinical perspective.
  • Must have the ability to operate a computer and use critical thinking skills to troubleshoot computers applications

Preferred Job Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience in a clinical setting
