As a Manager of Human Resources, this role will carry out a multitude of general responsibilities such as but not limited to employee engagement, employee relations, and communications. As a Manager of Human Resources, one will partner with other members of the HR team to ensure we create a positive work environment, manage change as the company continues to grow and evolve and will be the lead on several key projects.


From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Provide support to the Sr. HR Manager by offering guidance to influence plant management on HR priorities and items.
  • Lead and manage employee relations, including investigations.
  • Serve as a management and employee resource. Partner with managers to appraise, develop, communicate with, engage, compensate, and recognize employees. Will administer the performance appraisal program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the Plant.
  • Interface regularly with Corporate HR Team and plant-specific leads, and, where needed Legal, Compliance, and Safety.
  • Demonstrate commitment to a safe working environment that promotes the health and well-being of all employees and that will further contribute to the Company's overall performance and success.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

The incumbent is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units by the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required or 8+ years of experience in lieu of
  • 4-6 years HR Experience required; manufacturing setting preferred

Specialized Knowledge

  • Operating systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Leading investigations
  • Employment labor law

Skills / Abilities

  • Ability to create appropriate learning solutions for a range of groups and learning contexts
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Ability to build rapport well with all levels
  • Demonstrate strong project management and analytical skills
  • Act swiftly and creatively in fast-paced environment with ever changing needs
