PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

* Conducts spot welding

* Assist Fabrication Tech A when necessary

* Fabricates and assembles structural metal products

* Locates and marks bending and cutting lines

* Designs and constructs templates and fixtures

* Verifies conformance of workpiece to specifications, using square ruler, and measuring tape

* Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow standard safety practices and regulations.

* Cross-training and knowledge share with peers.

* Other miscellaneous duties as required/assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* Must be able to works independently and train others if required

* Must have understanding of balance and vibration principles.

* Demonstrates shop math skills

* Can interpret blueprints, specifications, production layouts, technical drawings, work orders, instructions, etc.

* Previous work-related experience and/or any vocational training, preferred
