Job Description
Description The Senior Program Manager Revenue Cycle will work under the direction of the Director to provide administrative, project and financial oversight for Department activities. Will manage the day-to-day operations of the Department. Will be responsible for operational success and will assist the Director to define strategy/direction in accordance with national standards and CNH policies and procedures.
Qualifications Minimum Education
Master's Degree Relevant experience beyond the minimum required work experience may substitute the educational requirement on a 1-to-1 ratio." (i.e., one year of relevant work experience equals one year of required education). (Required)

Minimum Work Experience
5 years At least 5 years experience in healthcare with a focus on developing programs, improving processes, and leading projects (Required)

Required Skills/Knowledge
Expertise in Revenue Cycle area of specialty.
Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Familiar with department budget and financial management, audit compliance, and personnel management.
Familiarity with population health strategies, alternative payment models, and care coordination strategies preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Access & Excel

Functional Accountabilities
Strategic Planning
  • Contribute to the strategic plan for department services, including short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Collect and analyze customer and stakeholder feedback and evaluate department effectiveness.
  • Incorporate findings into plans to modify program and external communication.
  • Gain exposure to operational information that is confidential within the Department and maintain those confidences.
  • Work with the Vice President and other involved staff to develop a way to capture and report the key operating statistics and financial performance of the Department.
Program Administration
  • Develop, implement and evaluate programs, services, policies and procedures, and performance standards to achieve departmental goals. Administer programs within budgetary guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and develop action plans to resolve.
  • Ensure compliance with CNH policies and procedures and with regulatory standards.
  • Liaise with senior leaders across CNH departments to strategize and launch new initiatives.
  • Lead, facilitate, and/or participate actively in Department management, team, and project meetings.
Human Resources and Relationship Management
  • Hire, train, develop and direct assigned staff to meet departmental objectives. Provide timely coaching and performance feedback.
  • Ensure performance evaluations and all other organizational circuit breakers for all staff are complete and on time. Provide leadership to encourage employees to accomplish major initiatives and special projects.
  • Strategize with Director to design and support staffing and leadership structures to best meet changing business objectives.
  • Develop and monitor staffing plans/schedules to optimize productivity and ensure quality services.
  • Establish, build and sustain professional contacts for the purpose of building networks of people with similar goals and interests.
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with national committees, organizations, and working groups.
Budget and Financial Planning
  • Participate in financial planning and budget preparation. Work with Director to manage department budget to ensure financial stability of the department.
  • Develop annual program and supplementary budgets which correlate to departmental projects and performance objectives. Develop recommendations to meet budget requirements.
  • Monitor the financial performance of teams within the Department; track, monitor, and evaluate budget for all line items.
  • Work with financial personnel within CNMC and outside stakeholders to ensure compliance with departmental budget.
  • Design and produce statistical and financial data/reports to support the operation of the Department and to guide its future initiatives.
  • Track revenue/expense increases/decreases and participate in decision-making as to appropriate actions and facilitate necessary actions.
Operations Management
  • Explore new methods to improve operations and work with various constituencies to gain acceptance and support implementation efforts.
  • See the potential in and understand the use of resources and decision-support tools in process and performance improvement.
  • Communicate operational issues and progress towards goals to Vice President and others as appropriate.
  • Ensure complete and accurate minutes as assigned.
  • Facilitate follow-through to action items.
