Job Description

Parametrix is seeking a River & Restoration Designer to join our growing team of award-winning environmental and water resource professionals. This is a great opportunity to become a member of our dedicated, established team of Engineers, Planners and Scientists. This position will have ongoing remote flexibility and will join our Oregon, Washington, Idaho, or California team coming into the office for project, client collaboration and mentorship.

Who you are:

Passionate: Civil, Environmental, or Geological experienced designer with a minimum of 4+ years of project experience and a demonstrated interest in rivers, restoration, stream design, watersheds hydraulics, and fish passage. Professional engineer, geomorphologist, or hydrologist preferred.

Relationship-focused: Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative approach, standout colleague, and not afraid to ask questions and take risks. Driven to support and serve clients. We are seeking highly motivated candidates to work collaboratively with clients, agency staff, and co-workers, interested in coordinated design work with other disciplines.

Hard Working: The environmental and restoration team is looking for someone to support them as they effectively deliver projects. You are self-motivated, but also thrive in a team environment.

Base salary for this position is in the range of $85,000-$110,000+. Salary will be determined based on education, experience, location, and role. For all positions we conduct an equity review. Employee-owners are all eligible for performance-based bonuses based on key contributions. Salaries are reviewed at least once annually as part of our compensation program. We are transparent in our salary discussions and look forward to sharing more about our compensation structure and the value of being an employee-owner.
