Parametrix, a best-in-class engineering, environmental sciences, and infrastructure management consulting firm, has an excellent career opportunity for a Business Advisory Consultant to join our National Strategic Advisory Services team.

This position will support continued development of our Business Advisory practice with a focus in the areas of organizational change management, communications, training, project/program management, organization design / operating model and business process improvement. The ideal candidate will be a skilled, hands-on consultant with demonstrable experience delivering value and making significant impacts to private and public sector organizations of different scale and scope on their business transformation initiatives. The candidate will come from a consulting background and/or management consulting firm and will be a strong team member with at least 5 years of related work experience.

Who you are:

  • You work to evaluate client organizational systems and processes to design effective solutions in the following areas to drive business benefits:
    1. Strategy development (and / or);
    2. Organizational change management (and / or);
    3. Organization design / target operating model (and / or);
    4. Project management / program management (and / or);
    5. Business process improvement.
  • You support the design and facilitation of strategic planning sessions, helping align executive partners around a shared mission, vision, and strategy.
  • You design, develop and lead client solutions;
  • You create and implement improvement plans adapted to the client environment;
  • You mentor clients, work on projects independently, contribute as a team member, and/or lead teams of consultants and/or clients to successfully deliver projects;
  • You created and managed measurement systems to track effectiveness, utilization and proficiency of individual project efforts;
  • You assist in the development of training and training of client staff to effectively use new processes and procedures.

What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years of organizational change management, project management, process improvement, organization design and/or operating model experience.
  • Prior consulting / management consulting experience in a project-based, client-facing environment; ideally across the private and public sectors.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Ability to proactively navigate ambiguous environments.
  • Ability to apply structured approaches and methodologies to your project work.
  • Ability to develop specific plans to mitigate or address client concerns.
  • Ability to develop a set of practical and targeted project plans or project strategies as necessary

Base salary for this position is in the range of $90,000-115,000+. Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, location, and role. For all positions we conduct an equity review. Employee-owners are all eligible for performance-based bonuses based on key contributions. Salaries are reviewed at least once annually as part of our compensation program. We are happy to be transparent in our salary discussions and look forward to sharing more about our compensation structure and the value of being an employee-owner.
