Project Engineer
Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Project Engineer to work in our Facility Design and Project Engineering department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Research Education Campus with every other Friday off.
Lead and direct medium to complex engineering design projects for Facility Engineering and support related programs at INL. Lead diverse design teams performing applied engineering. Provide technical leadership for the project engineering team. Analyze data, report results, and prepare program plans and work documentation. Review progress and evaluates results of internal and subcontracted resources. Project Engineer 1 will lead small to medium size design projects of complexity.
Responsibilities Include:
Project Engineer 2 serves as a technical consultant/expert for technically complex activities related to engineering. Project Engineer 2 mentors engineering and project engineering staff. Develop and implement project inputs (scope, technical and functional requirements), project strategy (scope, cost, schedule, change management), gather and analyze project risk and earned value data. Support and participates in the decision-making processes. Provide technical management and oversight of engineering services subcontracts. Project Engineers may perform all required facility change functions which would include generating an electronic engineering change in Asset Suite Engineering Change System. Project Engineers will manage the engineering change process on assigned projects.
Will perform these responsibilities and in team environments to complete actions that help achieve project objectives. Ensure that all products and outcomes exceed the needs and expectations of the customer.
