Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of the Trauma Program Manager and the Trauma Program Director to assure accurate, timely, review of Trauma cases and implementation and monitoring of quality programs.
  • Continuously assesses, measures and improves departmental performance and compliance status.
  • Monitor clinical processes and outcomes and system issues related to the quality of care provided; develop quality filters, audits, and case reviews: identify trends and sentinel events: and help outline remedial actions while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Assists the Trauma Manager and Trauma Medical Director with development, implementation, and monitoring of Quality Management activities.
  • Assists in the analysis of TQIP data and development of corrective action plans.
  • Initiates Primary review of trauma cases and rounds on patients to ensure complete and accurate data collection in the Trauma Registry.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Current RN license in the state of Idaho
  • Minimum of four years of recent related work experience in an acute care hospital in Emergency, Trauma or Critical Care.
