The Document Control Specialist is responsible for coordinating the activities of document control, including distributing and reviewing controlled documents, filing, maintenance, and inventory of hardcopy and electronic files and tracking, and reporting on document review progress. The Document Control Specialist will work with subject matter experts on technical subjects to prepare controlled documents, which conform, to Standard Operating Procedures. Will also be responsible for utilizing software to track, manage, and control issued documents and other duties as assigned.

  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Performs administrative support functions for overall project record keeping
  • Attends construction meetings and prepares meeting notes
  • Assists in tracking and keeping material testing documents
  • Maintains change management logs, RFI logs, submittal logs and the flow of these documents
  • Assists in Project Close-Out
  • Assists in preparation of monthly Construction Reports
  • Assists in upkeep of record drawings
  • Other duties as assigned

Show your expertise
  • 1+ years of experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Exceptional organization and coordination skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.
  • Experience in Construction, Engineering, or related industries preferred
