REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: This position reports directly to the Product Owner/ Manager of the PEO/ Staffing Product line and maintains direct relationships with Directors, Managers, Field Operations, and Vendors.


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Willingness to learn systems and become an expert in IT product suite
  • Analyze and understand existing business processes
  • Create, define, or revise business processes with stakeholders
  • Capture requirements through documentation, such as (but not limited to) use cases, acceptance tests, business process models, data flow diagrams, technical specifications, domain/conceptual models, and user interface wireframes and flow diagrams
  • Maintain documentation
  • Document user acceptance criteria
  • Recommend system improvements or issue remediation to software developers and infrastructure
  • Assists team members in achieving project goals
  • Analyze system behavior through a combination of prescribed and creative methods
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Provide Traceability and Impact assessment for changes
  • Identify and solve routine and moderately complex problems
  • Perform multiple tasks in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment
  • Deal with diverse personalities and cultures on a routine basis and in a professional manner
  • Work closely with quality assurance teams to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing activities to ensure the developed solutions meet business requirements.
  • Assisted in project planning, monitoring progress, and ensuring that projects aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide ongoing support to users and address any issues or questions related to implemented solutions.
  • Work closely with software development automation and testing teams to define testing and automation once the application has matured.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Qualified candidates must have a BS or BA degree in Business, Technology, or equivalent degree
  • 3-5 years working as a Business Analyst or equivalent job roles.

Advanced ability to solve problems and analyze alternate solutions

  • Familiarity with SQL, APIs, and Web Services
  • Knowledge of Software development lifecycle
  • Experienced in Agile Scrum and Waterfall Project Methodologies.
  • Experienced with System Upgrades and Implementations
  • Payroll, PEO, HR Knowledge or Experience Preferred
